“Heavy” airbags are the strongest in the range and are mainly used in railway wagons, refrigerated vessels – and with loads requiring additional protection. They are reusable bags.
Use
Heavy is used to safely secure loads that are transported in a container or on the road and which are at risk of being subjected to a maximum weight of 42 tonnes. The empty airbag should be placed within the empty spaces between the load and then blown using compressed air. The airbag assumes the exact shape of the gap and sustains and stabilizes the load effectively during transport. The airbag can be used several times.
Materials
The Heavy airbag consists of 3 layers of special paper, guaranteeing maximum strength and the reduced weight of the airbag. Inside, the Heavy airbag consists of 3 layers of high-quality PE film, which is coextruded, ensuring maximum sealing tightness.
Valve
The Heavy bag is equipped with a valve that allows very fast inflation and emptying. The valve can be opened and closed a large number of times, allowing the airbag to be reused.
